The Delaware Seashore State Park is one of the state’s most popular travel destinations. The park offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and Rehoboth and Indian River Bays to the west. Set up camp beside the iconic Indian River Inlet Bridge, only a short walk from the beach. The Indian River Marina is a full-service marina offering charter boat experiences and excellent fishing opportunities.
During your stay, be sure to visit the Indian River Life-Saving Station, a historic station built in 1876 for use by the United States Lifesaving Service to respond to the alarming number of shipwrecks along the coast. Today, the Life-Saving Station has been restored to its 1905 appearance, doubles as the park’s visitor center, and offers tours and year-round programming.
The Park has campgrounds on the north and south side of the Inlet. The north inlet campground has 88 full hook-up RV campsites. The south inlet campground has 151 full hooks up sites, 86 campsites without hook-ups, and 33 tent only camping sites. With excellent fishing spots, pristine beaches, and more, Delaware Seashore is a perfect destination for a seaside getaway.
